Whether for cleaning, care or refreshing – the Footbed Care Set is a reliable solution for extending the life of footbeds. The Footbed Care Set comprises the Cork Sealer & Protector, the Suede Brush and the Footbed & Shoe Dry Cleaner.
The BIRKENSTOCK Cork Sealer & Protector nourishes, protects and seals the edges of the sole as well as small cracks. This way, it protects the material from drying out and becoming brittle and maximizes the longevity of the shoes. The product nourishes and protects the material and provides intense and effective care. The Cork Sealer & Protector comes with a brush. Thanks to the brush, the Cork Sealer can be applied with precision and in small layers.
The BIRKENSTOCK Suede Brush is particularly suitable for cleaning suede, for example the footbed lining of most of Birkenstock sandals. Thanks to the special brush head, dust and minor dirt can be removed effectively. The brush can also be used after waterproofing to fluff up suede fibers.
The BIRKENSTOCK Footbed & Shoe Dry Cleaner has a firm crepe brush on one side to remove coarse dirt or stains. The other softer side can be used to fluff up the fibers of the suede or nubuck leather.
Prolong the life of your Birkenstocks by following their recommended care instructions:
- Trying on a new pair: Follow the size guide to ensure you’re wearing the correct size.
- Breaking in a new pair: Allow your feet to adjust to your new shoes by limiting wear to just a few hours the first five to six times.
- Air footbeds regularly: Airing the footbeds prevents the build-up of odours caused by excess moisture.
- Don’t immerse cork models in water: Water can damage cork-based sandals/shoes and dissolve the glue/sealant.
- Avoid extreme heat: Heat exposure can damage Birkenstocks. Avoid leaving them in the car or direct sunlight, and keep away from radiators and fireplaces.
- Repair your shoes: Over time, Birkenstock footwear may require repair due to general wear.

Returned items must be received in new, unused and re-sellable condition, with proof of purchase receipt and all packaging / swing tags still intact. Returned items which are not in this condition will unfortunately not be accepted.
